As it arrives in great glory and keeps our world turning, I think the least I can do is greet our Sun every morning like the great source it is.

Happiest SUN-day, beloved Joy Train Rider! I love you! Bless you! I affirm you are doing well.

I’m glad you could join us for this unscheduled tour. I had something so big to share it couldn’t wait till tomorrow.

In the middle of the night our destination flew into my mind and seared itself. I thought,

“How incredibly appropriate, and timely!”

I reached for my phone and put it in a new Substack so I wouldn’t forget it. And here it is!

I also was inspired to send it out today when so many people are worshipping. I am calling for it to have a transformative effect that is maximized out into the world and achieves the desired results. I see it done.

I chuckled at the destination’s name because I can imagine some people seeing “suffer” and reading it entirely the wrong way, as a curse. Of course it would also indict their discipleship because the story is one of redemption and transformation.

It was one of my three favorite Bible stories as a little girl in Bible School growing up in rural Jamaica. When Jesus resurrected and met his despondent disciple on the road who failed to recognize Him and basically asked,

“Where have you been? Under a ROCK?” is the second; and when He fed thousands with five small loaves and fishes is my third favorite Bible story.

The story goes that on his way to Damascus to continue persecuting members of the new religion, Saul was struck by a beam of light that rendered him sightless. Over the light he heard,

“Saul, Saul! Why persecutest thou me?”

I used to imagine Saul saying, “Because who could believe the story of You is a real thing??? I didn’t think it was possible!”

Saul repented and turned around180- degrees to become the Apostle Paul, and the most staunch defender of people who he formerly saw as prey.

Don’t you think we need that now?

Beloved Rider I am aware that Judaism does not include the New Testament in which this story appears. And sadly, in 2025 it may be used by some to try to widen the wedge between religious groups.

But this moment demands more from us than religious tribalism. The story has such huge worldwide weight among believers that it can be our major rallying prayer. Just think: If everyone who believes in prayer sends out that vision with conviction, and SEES it done in our minds’ eye, what might the results be? I am learning that this is the most potent and immediate way to create.

I’m also learning that everything has within it the full complement of itself. So unlike our tendency to contrast things, for example “good” is opposite of “bad,” they are elements on the same continuum. To reduce the volume of “bad,” we only need to advance more on the “good” side of the line. Categorization is unnecessary.

The Blue Mountains keep me in mind of The Great Pyramids of Giza and the solar culture that created them.

As you’re listening to my words I know you’re enjoying the scenes we’re passing through - forests and greenery and herds of buffalo moving slowly across the meadows. That black wolf trotting along the banks of the Snake River is heading to that elk carcass in the water. Looks like he’ll have to share with a few other wild things - that Golden Eagle; those Magpies and that flock of crows.

Oh look!
