A Mysterious Fog Saved US From the British in New York
Cosmos Joined 'The Glorious Cause of America' Saturday
These early-morning clouds look as thick as the fog that suddenly sprang up and concealed General Washington’s troops from the British.
Happiest day, beloved Joy Train Rider! I love you! Bless you! I affirm we are doing FANTASTIC!!
The soul of our country is refreshed, replenished after the weekend display of more than 13 million American patriots taking to the streets to affirm our love of country and our democratic form of government. We rejected hatemongering and division; the obscene spectacles of government representatives trying to repress and degrade our people and shame our name.
More than the three percent of American adults that it takes to make widespread change reported for duty. To me that’s a cosmic sign that we the people will not let ourselves be steamrolled. That one squeaky tank; soldiers reportedly marching out of step in protest and a sparsely attended event that was conceived to aggrandize, were a rebuke to the obscenity of it all. Definitely a cosmic sign as to which way we should be going, and which way the energy is NOT flowing.
Among the most repugnant scenes I saw on Substack was of an 80-year-old war veteran, hands cuffed behind his back, being shuffled off under arrest. I wondered how the man pushing the wheelchair behind him felt. Many of our “enforcers” will not be ok.
Among the most gleeful sights was a group of retirees fleeing their facility to go engage the fight, their faces gleaming with excitement. Wow! I can relax a bit more now.

Speaking with our friend in D.C Saturday, he said the weather might turn inclement for the never-before-seen procession of military battle tanks rolling through the streets of our Capital City.
“Aha!” I exclaimed. “So the universe is literally in play?! We’re gonna see a sign?1”
I KNOW that in 1776 the weather played a pivotal role in the outcome of one of the most consequential battle moves for our fledgling democracy, which involved WITHDRAWING AN ARMY OF 9. 000 WITH HORSES AND WAGONS FROM BROOKLYN ACROSS THE EAST RIVER TO MANHATTAN, while a well fed, well housed, well-armed British force WAITED to CRUSH them the following day.
I heard the story from one of our most renowned, Pulitzer Prize-winning historians, David McCullough, who also kindly gave me a signed copy of his masterpiece, 1776. He emphasized that General Washinton always affirmed The Glorious Cause of America,
I supplemented this tour with information from Tara Ross whose report Washington’s Miraculous Escape closely aligns with what I first heard.
We’re headed to Brooklyn-East River- Manhattan, and the precarious position General Washington and his ragged army faced in December, 1776:
“. . .British forces under General William Howe landed on Long Island, hoping to capture New York City and gain control of the Hudson River, a victory that would divide the rebellious colonies in half.
“On August 27, the Red Coats marched against the Patriot position at Brooklyn Heights, overcoming the Americans at Gowanus Pass and then outflanking the entire Continental Army.
“(but) Howe failed to follow the advice of his subordinates and storm the redoubts at Brooklyn Heights, and on August 29 General Washington ordered a brilliant retreat to Manhattan by boat, thus saving the Continental Army from capture.”
